Accommodation & pitches:

When you book a pitch or mobile home, a 30% deposit will be required to validate your option. This must be paid within 10 days.

The stay must be paid 30 days before your arrival, with the exception of bare pitches which can be paid no later than the day of arrival.

The balance can of course be paid in several installments and several payment methods as long as the deadlines are respected.

Holiday vouchers:

If you want to pay for part or all of your stay using holiday vouchers, we recommend that you send them to us by registered letter.

The campsite declines all responsibility in the event of loss or theft during transport.

Holiday vouchers must be sent to us:

• All detached from each other
• Having completed the «holder’s name» section.
• With their original stubs
• To the following address: Camping Ostrea – Route des huitres, 17550 Dolus d’Oléron

If you want to pay using ANCV Connect, you will first need to contact us on 05 46 47 62 36

With your ANCV application and your validation code, which will be requested during the transaction.

Please note that we do not accept ANCV payments for bookings via Booking!

For a stay in accommodation, arrivals are from 4 p.m.

For a stay on a pitch, access to the pitches is from 3 p.m.

Check-in formalities can be carried out from 11:30 a.m. at the reception, while waiting for the time of handing over the keys you can enjoy the site’s facilities (swimming pool, playground, snack bar, toilets, etc.)

In case of late arrival, please notify the campsite reception in order to tell you how to access your pitch.

In case of arrival after 11pm, access to your pitch will be on foot!

Our animal friends are welcome (maximum 2 per pitch) with a supplement to be paid per animal (Price available at reception or on our website).

A few rules remain to be respected:

• When you check in, the vaccination record must be up to date.
• The animal must always be kept on a leash within the campsite and always under the supervision of its owner.
• Animals must be taken out of the campsite to do their business, their owners must pick up their animal’s accidental droppings on the campsite site
• Category 1 and 2 dogs, even muzzled, are prohibited on the campsite.

Our mobile homes are all equipped with a television.

Bed linen and towels are not provided in the rental.

We offer a rental service, subject to availability:

• double bed kit (a flat sheet, a fitted sheet, 2 pillowcases)
• small bed kit (a flat sheet, a fitted sheet, 1 pillowcase)
• towel kit (a large towel, a small towel, a bath mat)

For better management of our stock, please notify the reception team at least 3 days before your arrival for any linen rental.

A deposit for accommodation and cleaning will be requested upon arrival. Under no circumstances will the key to the mobile home be issued without the deposits being paid.

To enjoy our aquatic area, you will need to be equipped with a lycra swimsuit.
Swim shorts are prohibited.

Baby kits contain a travel cot* and a high chair.

*Travel cots are not equipped with mattresses according to a PMI recommendation.

The campsite is not VACAF approved.

Arrivals in accommodations are on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays in high season (every day for the «Parks» category).

Arrivals are possible every day in low season.

For bare pitches, arrivals can be made every day.

The campsite will offer entertainment in July and August.

Some of our mobile homes in the CONFORT range are equipped with air conditioning. Please contact reception for more information.

Yes, for 6-12 year olds, in July and August. Registration required at reception and depending on available slots.

The rental price includes accommodation, access to facilities, administration fees and tourist taxes.

You can create a customer account on our website www.camping-ostrea.com which will allow you to find your reservation, but also to create a loyalty account.

The numbers are only given upon your arrival at the campsite.

When making your reservation, do not hesitate to let us know your criteria (shaded, calm, etc.). We ask that you notify us of your wishes at most 7 days before your arrival so that we can best meet your request.

You can rent at the Ostrea campsite for a minimum of 2 nights.

In high season, rentals are made by the week. However, the PARCS category (without toilets) allows you to stay with us in the summer for a minimum of 3 nights, without a specific day of arrival.

The tourist tax is automatically added to the price of your rental. The amount has been defined by the CDC.

This is not included in the rental price because it is paid to the municipality.

You may be asked for your identity card upon arrival. It may also be requested by a member of the campsite team when purchasing alcohol.

The swimming pool at Camping Ostrea is open every day from April to September.

Low season: 9:30 am to 6 pm

High season: 9:30 am to 7 pm.

Please note that opening times may vary. Please contact reception for this information.

Charcoal barbecues are not allowed on the pitches. We provide you with a barbecue area. The grills are to be collected from reception during opening hours. Electric planchas are allowed (not provided by the campsite). However, it is strongly recommended to be vigilant regarding the amperage of the pitch.

The campsite offers a bread and pastries depot at reception, on order the day before, during school holidays, long weekends as well as July and August.

Treat yourself to fresh bread or a sweet treat (croissant, chocolatine) for a gourmet breakfast. Menu available at reception.

We offer bike rental at the Ostrea campsite directly at the campsite reception and without reservation, according to your needs.

Our partner Loc and Go provides us with a wide choice of adult and child bikes as well as electric bikes.

A deposit will be requested and returned at the end of the bike rental.

Yes, the mobile home must be returned clean and emptied of all personal belongings, unless you have taken out the cleaning package.

If you wish to leave your accommodation before reception opens, please contact reception the day before to prepare your departure and to tell you how to return the keys to us.

Accommodation must be vacated by 10am at the latest.

For pitches, departures are made by 12pm at the latest.

After leaving the pitch and giving us the keys, you can enjoy the campsite’s facilities (swimming pool, snack bar, playgrounds, toilets, etc.) before hitting the road.

The deposit is not returned to you on the day of your departure.

Our teams check the accommodation after your departure. If it is returned without damage and the cleaning has been done properly, the reception destroys your deposit (credit card imprint or check) within 72 hours after your departure.

To obtain an invoice for your stay, simply contact the reception of the Ostrea campsite during your stay or make your request by email.

Payment for booking reservations is made directly via the campsite.
Once we have received your email address, we will send you a link to pay for your stay.

Payment can also be made by check or bank transfer.
Please note that holiday vouchers are not accepted for a reservation through Booking.

Payment of your balance depends on the rental conditions available on booking. In low season, reservations must be paid within 5 days.

For rentals in July/August, the stay must be paid upon reservation since it is firm.

Regarding the booking cancellation conditions, these are indicated in the booking reservation. We invite you to contact the campsite team for assistance.

Yes, outside visitors are accepted on the campsite. Any outside person must report to the campsite reception.

For access to the facilities (water park, playground), day passes are on sale at the reception if the number of people exceeds the capacity of the mobile home.

Depending on the type of accommodation rented, one or two vehicles are included in the price of the stay.

Any additional vehicle on a pitch will be payable. This option is not guaranteed depending on the type of accommodation.

All additional vehicles must be parked in our free car parks near the campsite.

Yes, the campsite has free Wi-Fi for one device throughout the site.

No, the campsite does not accept minor children alone. They must be accompanied by a legal adult staying on site.

By car:
To access the Ostrea campsite by car, simply follow the oyster route just after the bridge on the right towards the Château d’Oléron and the Baudissière cabins.

By boat:
For boat enthusiasts, a shuttle offers to reach Boyardville from La Rochelle. (Pedestrians)
You will need to take another transport between Boyardville and the Ostrea campsite.

* A summer shuttle serves the entire island during the day for free in July/August

** Regional buses connect the island to the various nearest SNCF stations, as well as La Rochelle airport.

Tents are not allowed on pitches that are not designated for this purpose.

However, tent pitches are available for rental.

Our campsite has a PMR mobile home as well as a PMR shower cabin and toilet.

Swimming is allowed in front of the campsite. However, there is no beach at high tide.

The Moeze nature reserve is accessible by canoe, rowing if there is no disturbance to the fauna and flora, walking on the lower part of the beach and existing paths without crushing the plants, swimming, etc.

Dogs, fishing, picking, drones and water activities are prohibited in the Moeze reserve under penalty of a fine by the reserve guard.

For swimming, we advise you to go to the beach of La Phibie (10 minutes by bike) or St Trojan or Boyardville 15 minutes by car.

3 beaches are accessible for swimming for people with reduced mobility using a ramp:

• Boirie Beach: St Denis d’Oléron
• Boyardville Beach: Boyardville
• Gatseau Beach: St Trojan les bains

8 other beaches have swimming chairs:

• Boyardville Beach
• Phibie Beach: Château d’Oléron
• Gatseau Beach: St Trojan les bains
• Verbois Beach: Dolus d’Oléron

The vast majority of beaches are allowed to dogs outside the summer period.

From mid-June to mid-September:

• The beach of Ecuissière in Dolus d’Oléron is allowed all day and all year round to dogs.
• The beaches of La Bivoire (St pierre d’Oléron), Matha (la Cotinière), La Rémigeasse and La Perroche (Dolus d’Oléron) are allowed to dogs from 8:30 p.m. to 9 a.m.
